Major break through!!

I'm about to completely blow your mind with this one! Are you ready?

I Sean Steven Perkey (Yeah that's right "Steven"), on this very day... bent over and...(are you sure you're ready...cause I can hold on and let you leave the room or cover your eyes or something)....

"I bent over and picked up a quarter!!...right off the ground!! without even thinking about it!!" Isn't that Amazing? *doing a victory dance while waving a quarter in the air singing...* " I got da quarter..da shiny quarter and I'm gonna spendit all...gonna spend up all my quarrrrterrrrr!!"

Oh...I guess it bares mentioning that until today and for a long time I have not been able to reach the ground from a standing positon let alone reach it with enough manual dexterity to pick up a coin. I guess that little bit of info is important to the story.. :0)

ok that's it. Just wanted to share...now I'm gonna go to sleep and dream about all the things that i can buy with my new quarter...ahhhh...5 sugar free gum balls...mmmmm....1 game credit on the old centipede video game at the corner quickie market (rock!)...day old bagel...mmmmmmm

I love my quarter <3

Trading up

Trading up, Kyle style
From a red paper clip to a dream
A house in the prairies
With a sky full of stars
And a town to call home

Trading up, Sean style
From a quarter on the ground
To a groovin toned lean machine
With a mind full of hope
And a body to call home

Dancing, walking, playing
Singing with the kids
Riding a bicycle
With the wind in his hair
Catching a frisbee, chasing a toddler
Making love to life
In this body called home

Kyle proved it
Big dreams start
With a red paperclip
Or a quarter on the ground

Dude, that is awesome. While my weight hasnt been my issue, my bad posture and poor fitness has made it hard for me to do that recently, where I avoid those things, so I have a tad bit of understanding of what it is like to not be able to pick up things, or struggle. Have you thought about doing any kind of "matching" type of thing, where maybe people can work on loosing their own weight, or accomplishing something else like quitting smoking, and they "pledge" their amount of work, and then link back to your site, or something... (My full idea isnt worked out, but you are the idea man, so you might be able to take that to the next level.)

In either case, that is awesome, and I will chat when I get back to America.

Mike: Thanks!

Eye: Thanks man! It's kind of silly and it was really late when I wrote it but it's still something. by the way...congrats again and I'm sorry about forgetting to add your daughter's first name...I just realized that I made that mistake. She's beautiful by the way! how you holding up?

invader stu: Thanks! Hell I may Frame that bad boy! lol

selina: what a wonderful poem! Thank you! I'm gonna save that and read it for encouragement!

Candy: I just checked your blog and posted! Rock on!

cutekiwi: Yep! I went straight past the toes to the ground! Rock it! Thanks!

Jason: hey thanks man! And I know people want the hard numbers and I want to give everyone great news but untill my weight loss surpasses my muscle gain i feel like I have to spend too much time explaining the numbers when I post and it feels like I'm just making excuses. I will tell you that I have taken body measurements and i will be posting the ones I took last week with the updated ones next week...hope that will suffice. Trust me though I'm feeling the changes and things are slowly improving!

jimbo: Yep! only good news here and One day the scale will show it..it's just taking longer than I thought. But! I have a brand, spankin', new quarter and I'm living on top of the world! By the way how have you been doing?

Roy: Thanks man! I know it's silly but it was late and I didn't have anything else to post! ;0)

Jacob: That's a good Idea..I know what you're saying. I'll give it some thought and try to figure out how to work something like that. By the way. If you're going where I think you're going please be careful and come back in one piece! Ok?

Forget the scale. Those moments--those are the ones that tell you you're making progress. Whether or not the number is changing, those little things tell you that you *life* is changing.

housefrau: yeah you're right of course. I would still be nice to have a cut and dry response to questions when they come my way... I suppose I will, eventually.

Dan: um...I think they took those out years ago but I'm sure there's an arcade somewhere...
Talk with you on Friday!
