Sean, I haven't read all of your blog, but I've managed to catch quite a bit and I have a couple of questions...at what point did you see a doctor about getting this program started, and how often are you going back to ensure you're still on the right track? A trainer is great, but a doctor is probably a necessity as well, right?

And, what made you do it? I've sent emails to some friends wondering if I could/should do the same thing--you may have started something!

Way to go Sean! My friend and I started our own "weight loss blog" in February, after I weighed in at 282 pounds. So far, with some diet changes and starting an exercise routine of walking every day, I've lost almost 30 pounds. It won't happen overnight, but every little bit counts. It helps to be accountable to someone, so the blog is a great idea, it will keep you motivated. Good luck with your first weigh-in, I'll be watching and supporting from up here in Canada!

All the best, and keep it up! It's hard, but it's worth it...
