fitness resources brought to my attention!

I received a few emails this week regarding some weight loss resources/ Motivational programs that some kind folks thought I and my readers (That's you ;0) ) would like to know about.

The first and most TIME SENSITIVE information was sent to me from NIKKI at M80 and it's a Weight Loss program and Competition being offered by Kmart & M80 called New Day Your Way !

The second Item was sent to me by a gentleman Named Sean (and yes Sean I agree that is a fantastic name!) who assures me that he does NOT watch Oprah everyday but happened to be tuning in recently and heard them mention that they were looking for people to send in their profiles and weight loss goals in order to receive valuable fitness and health tips from her trainer Bob Greene as well as possibly being featured on the show.

I had mentioned before that when I reach my goal and had raised the funds I pledged to raise for Diabetes Research I'd love to present the check to the ADA on her show. So who knows maybe this is a little push from destiny to get me back up on that horse!

On a more personal Note I did end up making it to the gym on Friday of last week for a swim. I also went Saturday, Monday, Tuesday and will hit it again on Friday after work. I'm feeling a bit more limber although that nagging foot pain is back. Thank goodnes for the pool but i really just wish it would stop hurting all together. Maybe when some of the weight comes off it'll improve. Time will tell.

Oh yeah. I'm still looking for a scale and have started calling outside of my medical care provider. I know someone has to have a Scale that is accurate at my weight and as much as I know you all want to see pictures of me weighing myself at the post office...it ain't gonna happen...LOL!
